Our group began on May 19, 2002 (which was the Feast of Pentecost that year) and slowly grew through referrals and links from other sites. Initially we were primarily a listserve, but now have grown to a global community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Anglicans and our friends.

The listserve is still active and we invite you to participate. You must however be a member to send and receive messages. To join our listserve, go to The_Anglican_LGBT_Community and click on Join this Group.

We'd love to hear about your church, your partner (if you're in a relationship), your hopes for the future of Christ's Church, and your experiences within the Anglican Communion. It is alright to talk about loosely related subjects too but they should be of general interest to the group. Remember if you have a comment that is really only for one member, it is best to send it directly to that member.

Occasionally our members have gotten together with other members. We have also exchanged pictures and have sent personal email back and forth. You are certainly welcome to pursue friendships with any group members.
